Khelopia Privacy Policy

Khelopia is a family board-games app made for children and adults. We built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

• Khelopia does not collect or share any personal information.
• There are no ads, no accounts, no in-app purchases, and no chat or online play.
• The games work offline. Extra games, such as Ludo, are downloaded through Google Play and need an internet connection once; after that they play offline too. Nothing about you is sent to us when you download a game.
• If the app crashes, it sends a technical crash report (no names, no game content) so we can fix the problem. Details below.

Information stored on your device

To let you continue a game and start the next one quickly, the app saves the following only on your device:

• The game in progress (board positions, whose turn it is).
• The last players you set up (the names typed in, characters, token colors, human/computer seats, chosen board and game options such as the turn timer).
• Your settings (sound effects, music, vibration).

This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or anyone else, including in crash reports. Player names can be anything; please use first names or nicknames. You can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.

If your device's own backup service (for example Android backup to your Google account) is turned on, your device may include this app data in your backup. That backup is controlled by you and your device provider, not by us.

Crash reports

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to find and fix crashes. When the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, and the device is online, it sends a crash report containing:

• Technical details of the error (which part of the app failed).
• The device model, operating-system version, app version, and the time of the crash.
• A random identifier created for this installation of the app. It is not your advertising ID and does not identify you; it only lets us see whether the same crash repeats.

Crash reports never include names typed into the app, game content, your location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. They are sent encrypted, used only to fix problems in the app, and never used for advertising or sold. Firebase Analytics and the advertising ID are turned off.

Google processes crash reports for us as a service provider and keeps them for up to 90 days (see Firebase privacy information). To ask us to delete crash data, email us; uninstalling the app stops all reports.

Children's privacy

Khelopia is designed to be suitable for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Crash reports contain only technical information and a random installation identifier, used solely to keep the app working (support for internal operations). The app has no advertising, no social features, and no links that leave the app without a parental check ("ask a grown-up").

This policy is intended to meet the requirements of the Google Play Families Policy, the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the EU/UK GDPR provisions for children.

Permissions

• Vibration: for short, optional vibration feedback during play (can be turned off in Settings).
• Internet and network state: to send crash reports and to download extra games through Google Play. The games themselves work offline.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
